Written in plain language, because a privacy policy nobody can read is not a privacy policy.
What this site collects
Nothing is stored on this website. The service request form runs entirely in your browser. When you submit it, your browser opens your own email application with the details you entered, and you press send there. The form has no server-side database and no tracking cookies.
What happens to what you send
If you submit a service request, The Computer Hospital receives it as an email and uses it to contact you about that request. By submitting the form you agree that we may call you about it. If you supplied an email address, you will receive a copy.
Third-party services
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and embeds an OpenStreetMap map on the contact page. Those services may receive your IP address as part of serving the content. The map does not set tracking cookies in your browser.
Your device and repairs
Any computer you bring into the shop is handled under the shop's own customer and data policies, which are discussed with you at the time of service. We do not ask for or retain account passwords. If we work on a system that may be compromised, we will tell you which accounts appear affected so you can change those passwords from a trusted device.
